In the Gratuity Act the minimum number of days for an employer in a  seasonal establishment to be elegible for gratuity has been given as 70 days in MPV. Whereas in other text books it is mentioned as 75% of the days. What is the correct answer?

hi

in case of seasonal employees they are said to be in continuous service if they had worked for 75% of the days in which the establishment has worked

for eg: if the  factory has worked for 200 days

the seasonal employee has to qualify to be in continuous service has to atleast be worked for  minimum 150 days (75% of 200)
