Kindly advise whether it is required to file MGT 14 for aprivate company for increasing its authorized capital

No, it is not required.. but if u need to alter your articles by passing SR for alteration of Articles resulting from increase in AC then it is required..

but in this context director are execrising its power of incresing authorized capital

Rightly answered by the learned members, it is not required to file form MGT 14 for increase in authorised share capital if you are passing ordinary resoluion only.
In case you have passed Special Resolution or you have also altered your articles, you need to file form MGT 14 as well.
