if u r aiming for rank and u find tax easy then dr. v.k.singhania (taxman publication pvt.ltd.)
and if tax is one of the difficult subject or new subject for u and u r doing self study then t.n. manoharan.
and do not forget the module to read once and revised twice.
for indirect tax module is the best.
