Income from foreign currency

There are no taxes involved other than normal Income tax on your income. but before you begin, ask your banker if they can directly credit your account with INR or will you need to open an EEPF account. some banks like ICICI & Yes bank convert the foreign currency received to INR and credit your account with INR.

1.  No special tax

2.  yes, you need to pay taxes on your total income including any income earned from outside India.

3.  Your clients might be required to withhold taxes in accordance to their domestic tax laws...whether they do so or not is their problem.  In case they do, you cna claim credit for the same against your tax liability.

4. OSP licence is applicable to companies...given that you are working in a non-corporatized capacity, you wont require any licence.
