One of my client is engaged in website designing and website development business.Basically they export their services all over the world .So do they required to take IEC number .They dont deal in commodity , they export their services.

..yes IEC is needed, the reason being export of services and to justify the foriegn inward remittances IEC code has to be registered..

Sorry Dear , Your information is not correct . I have enquired and checked ,IEC code is not requried for the export of services and so in the above case. This is for your knowledge.
