HUF PAN query

Dear Vivek,

1) HUF is created on the day of marriage of First Karta..

2) If e-filing is not mandatory in ur case then u can look for filing in physical form..

I think in ur case, as its mentioned ANCESTRAL....., the date will be 01/01/1999.....

Hi vivek, i asked one of my frnd, who had same Query..... The new effective date issued to them was 01/01/1999..... And he said, this date was issued to various PAN HOLDERS, whose date is written as ANCESTRAL...... So, i reffered that date....

Oh... ok... It is a practical knowledge which is not available in Books.... Thanks Dhiraj...

Plz, try for the last time.... keep dates as 01-01-9999 or 01-01-0001.... try it out once, i know they are the most odd dates, just try it....

And still if u find any difficulty., I advise you to contact UTI or NSDL officials and request them to tell the date of incorporation for your HUF PAN. Or contact them over phone. I am giving their Mumbai central office numbers.

thank you dhiraj,i got it yaar.01/01/0001 is the right one,earlier in the past i hav done the same but i remembered the date as 01/01/2001,bt it is actually 01/01/0001.
