is there any easier way to add hsn summery in annual return
it is very difficult to add it one by one

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies that the HSN summary for the GSTR 9 annual return is now optional for financial years 2017-18 and 2018-19. While initially dependent on turnover, recent notifications from CBIC, such as Notification 56/2019, have made it optional irrespective of turnover limits. This means you no longer need to enter HSN details one by one for inward and outward supplies.

It is optional now.You no need to enter HSN wise for both Inward and Outward Supplies.

please  refer  Notification  56/ 2019  dated  14th  Nov  2019  of  CBIC   , HSN  summery   for  GSTR 9 ( F.Y  2017-18  and 2018-19 )  is   optional . please  confirm   form Notification .

Optional facility only for under turnover 2-crore

Irrespective of turnover limit its optional to fill HSN details
