can any one explain me about what taxes are applicable for a newly started hotel and what type of registration to be done? hotel with no air conditioning

Apply for a Trade Licence, open a current account, Apply for vat registration, apply for service tax registration if taxable TO is more than ten lacs p.a
thnq... some one said no need to pay service tax for non AC hotels..so y to apply for service tax
Yes you are correct there is no service tax on Non Ac restaurant. So its optional for you to apply for registration.
