i am a small e- commerce seller with a turnover of less than 10 lack per annum. i am doing this business in my trade name real gems corporation(proprietorship firm) and registered under GST. i am also having rental income of Rs. 2 lack per annum in my personal name from a commercial property. should i need to collect GST on my rental income and deposit it through my firm or i do not need to collect it? pl answer my query in detail

Since, you are a e-commerce seller, registration for your firm is compulsory.
now, if your this property is not an asset of the firm but your personal asset and rental income from that is 2 laks per annum, you are not reuired to deduct GST on the same. For clarity refer Ques no. 46 of email faq issued by CBEC. The same email faq has been attached for your easy reference.

No. That said, where the rental income from a single property is less than Rs. 20 lakhs.
but, the aggregate rental income from various properties exceed rupees twenty lakhs, the requirement for registration and GST payment will be there
