how much gst is to be paid on rent. my rent us 27500 to land owner
If you are giving rent for residencial purpose then no Gst will be charged.
For business purposes 18% GST will be charged.
If your landlord is not charging gst separately then GST will be 23305 + 4195(GST)= 27500
If changing separately then
27500+ 4950 =32450 will be payable.
For business purposes 18% GST will be charged.

for giving the premises on rent for business purpose or commercial purpose the owner of that property has to collect a gst of 18% as it comes under the category of service.
this 18% of gst may be inclusive of your rent like rent+tax= 27500 or may additional 18% tax on the given rent like 27500+18%gst on 27500=32450 apart from tds deducted

then why are asking about gst!!! this transaction not covered in gst ambit thus u are not liable to pay any amount of gst
