The banks ask for a GSTIN when applying for a current account. But, from what I gather it is the other way around and a current account is needed to apply for GST. How do I break this deadlock?

GST registration can also be applied with savings account.
Now apply for GSTN with saving account and after getting GSTN number update current account when it is opened by bank
