26Q prepared using RPU 2.7 - when uploaded at eTDS site of NSDL is giving error

1^NA^NA^^^T-FV-1021^FVU Version is either Incorrect or NULL.

When FVU 3.3 (to be used after 1-Feb-2012) is used to validate the files prepared by RPU 2.7 - it does not do anything. Upon clicking "Validate" - almost immediately - it 'clears' data filed in field 1, 3 and 4 immediately. It does not create by files in the designated directories (even after 'Exit').

Any idea, what's problem?

for me it is working i mean i prepared returns using RPU 2.5 it worked but gave this header .error any idea why so? Also can you tell me what exactly is the use of FVU utility because after generating FVU file in E-TDS RPU utility we just file the return in CD to intermediary. then why is the FVU utility . Because for me when i use FVU utility it gives error but file is smoothly uploaded in intermediary side/ ;) someone please explain use of FVU utility,
