Form 15CA

Mr. A is a non resident but an Indian Citizen having an immovable property here in India. He sold the property and paid the capital gains tax. He now wants to transfer the proceeds from his NRE account here in India to his account in US.

My question is- Does he need to file form 15CA ?

I think there is no need to file 15CA...NRE account balances are freely repatriable nd I think these credits(sale of immovable property by nonresident) r usually allowed in NRO a/c.....in that case its necessary to file 15CA
