Finance is a vast area.  You will find elements of finance in almost every sort of decision.  From stock markets to asset acquisition to investment decisions, finance is involved everywhere.  MBA finance will include accounts, tax and other commerce subjects.  As you are from science background first try to grab basics through books of graduation level and while learning basics dont follow choose and pick policy.  Basics should be learnt completely and deeply, at advance level you can decide to select a particular area for special focus.  As you are pursuing MBA Finance there must be majority of commerce graduates with you, Take help from them to learn these basics.   Besides them you can post your doubts and queries at this forum also.  

You will have to go for extra hard work, be prepared for it.
