Final Settlement to Employees

with reference to the Bombay Chartered Accountants Society's website (www.bcasonline.org);
"The auditor should report if the final settlement to employees is not made within 30 days".

I brought to the attention of my auditor (As i'm the internal audit assistant), he is asking me that is there any legal view to settle within 30 days to employees?.

Can anyone help?

Pls provide the details to me also as I am also a internal auditor and also explain final settlement includes the apyment of P.F. Balance also?

There is no direct URL.

First go to the site www.bcasonline.org
then click to "Articles and Features" on the right sight headings.
then click the "Internal Audit Studies"
then go to "Page 2"
then click the topic "Continuous Checking"
Read the Side-heading of "Staff Settlements".
