Filing return of a.y 2010-11

Mr Raj Malhotra,

• Please make sure that your DSC is Valid ( Validity of DSC is not expired)
• You have installed Java Runtime Environment (Free available at www.java.com website)
• You have installed DSC Drivers in your PC.
• Attach DSC USB eToken (If your are using DSC in eToken, else select proper DSC in pfx file in next step)
• Login to your PAN account at Income Tax e Filing Website.
• Click on Update your Digital Certificate.
• Select Proper Certificate, Register, Get Confirmation Message.
• Now logout and login again.
• Now you can submit your ereturn for A.Y.2010-11 using your this registered DSC.

OR

If you are not covered under Tax Audit (Sec 44AD) then you can at your option, go for old method. i.e. Submit ereturn without using DSC, get ITR-V, sign and send it to Bangalore Office.

Everything is correct but still not able to upload the returns. I am covered under Tax Audit so i am no sure is returns for the year 2010-2011 can be filed without digital signature because the Digital Signature was made mandatory only after the due date for filing return for the year 2010 and 2011

Is your problem solved or not ?

Can you explain the exact error message you are getting when you are trying to upload your return using DSC ?

DSC is issued by which authority ? for e.g. TCS, MTNL,....

Are you using DSC in USB eToken Format or Soft Copy Format ?

One of my party wants to file their ITR for a.y.2010-11. When i try to e file and submit the xml file one message comes - return filing date end. Pl. advise can i file this ITR manually or is there any penelty to be impose if i file the same. Please also advise the best way to file the ITR for a.y.2010-11
