Expecting extension in due dates??-voice of cci

The due date may be extended for Assam region due to critical flood situation, like in AY 2011-12 it was extended to 31.10.2011 for assessees of Sikkim due to earthquake.

All right....Even I heard Ganesh Chaturthi Festival reason as well.......Lets wait for others Opinion....

putting such queries on board, which has no issue in general, is misuse of such useful plateform of knowledge.

govt will decide where to allow exemption of time and where not, and it will get published on the last day of the filing date. does not mean that whole india will get the benefit of this relaxation.

representation would reach govt thorough the regional heads and IT office, for relaxation of area based issues, and it will certainly not extend for whole india, however if more than 60% of india is under trouble then govt will consider the same.

ganesh chaturthi was well within the calander and is not effecting the last date of filing the return.

As you are senior, I dont want to argue.....

And intention for putting this forum was not to hurt your feelings or misusing platform...

There  was one logic behind posting that If I can talk about any matter relating to CA field with my CA Friends or colleauge, than same can be asked/shared/discussed/enjoyed on CCI as well.

Although Being CA or being member of CCI, knowledge matters a lot but there are so many topics to discuss. And if CCI had an objection for the same than probably CCI havent provide other as forum category and humor etc in sub category.

Again excuse me if it hurts.
