I HAVE TAKEN IT FROM ICAI' TRAINING GUIDE.

NOTE :-  EXAM DURATION WILL NOT BE TREATED AS LEAVE

Hey alifiya good to see that apart from me there is ant one else also who has so many leave.....

Any ways in continuation to this topic, i want to know, that from the calculation of total working days less leaves taken, the leave taken is after reducing 180 days or before?????

i felt i should have not phrased the question in a way that looked sarcastic  without knowing the reason.. thats why!

one more thing there is an announcement from the ICAI about the working hours of the article students which says that :

Where the article assistant is required to work beyond normal working hours, and aggregate of such hours exceed 35 hours per week, he/she shall be entitled to compensatory leave calculated with reference to number of completed working hours, over and above 35 hours per week.

Can any one tell me what is the procedure to claim the credit of  this excess hours worked???

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the calculations

483 days is after considering 180days

N FRNDS WEEKLY HOLIDAYS MEANS SUDAYS

WE DONT SUBTRACT SUNDAY IN CALCULATION OF WORKING DAYS

I MEAN WEJUST TAKE 365*3

SO WHY ARE WE DEDUCTING SUNDAYS WHILE CALCULATING LEAVES

@ ravi : its practically impossible to prove that u have worked bewond that unless u have  log and its signed by ur office.. even ten u have to do all the calculations. most of us here would have worked for more than 45 hrs a week for SURE.. thats an excess of 10 hrs a week which means it comes to 1820 hrs for 3.5 years ( 10 hrs x 182 weeks ) . every bodu know these things.. but cant claim them unless we have proof.

i know its practically impossible, but then i feel if there is an announcement then there can be some way yaar, coz  this can really help lot of students.....

yeah true.. then i guess icai has to implemt stirct rules where every firm should maintain a seperate log for every article which can double up as a attendence . it should contain details about the working hours every day and shuold be signed by artcicles as well as the firm incharge.. thats the only way as ii can see it..

i agree they should seriously implement something......

@ ravi and other members : please read my idea regarding to this issue in the following link
