Quick Summary
This discussion explains how to complete Part B of an e-way bill when sending goods via Speed Post. Key details include using 'India Post' as the transporter name, the Speed Post tracking number as the transporter document number, and entering 'NOT APPLICABLE' for the vehicle number. The guide confirms an e-way bill is necessary for goods over ₹1,00,000 and advises contacting the GST helpdesk or a tax expert if issues arise.

For transporting goods through Speed Post, you can fill Part B of the e-way bill as follows:

1. Transporter details: - Transporter name: India Post - Transporter ID: GSTIN of India Post (available on the India Post website) - Transporter document number: Speed Post tracking number (starts with 'EA' or 'EM')

2. Vehicle details: - Vehicle number: Enter "NOT APPLICABLE" or "N/A" (as Speed Post doesn't provide a vehicle number)

3. Other details: - Mode of transport: Post - Distance: Enter the distance between the sender's and recipient's locations (approximate) Since the goods are worth over ₹1,00,000, an e-way bill is required.

You can generate the e-way bill using the transporter details and Speed Post tracking number.

If you face any issues, contact the GST helpdesk or consult a tax expert for assistance.

Remember to carry the e-way bill and other relevant documents during transportation.

Thank you so much Sir for your reply.
