one assessee has paid the self assessment income tax for the assessenment year 2009-10, while e-payment insted of putting asst year 2009-10 they have put asst year 2008-09. they generate the form.
is there any suggesttion?

Claim it into the ITR of AY 2009-10. Later on when you get the notice of demand from IT deptt, at that time furnidh the details of payment mentioning all the mistakes. It shall be considered accordingly.
