AT E--FILING CENTER...

The following services will be temporarily suspended on 30th and 31st July so that E-Filing of I-T returns can be accorded priority: "Know your PAN", Know TAN", "Bulk Verification of PAN"

frnds... anyone tried or know about " bulk Verification of PAN"...

Registered users such as Depository participant, Financial Institution, and Bank who are liable to File AIR are provided the facility to verify the PAN of their clients/customers.

The facility is provided by NSDL and registration is must.

The annual fee charged is about Rs.60000/-(Yes Sixty Thousand )

So only Banks and big Financial Institutions opt for it. You can learn more about this if you go for Audit of Banks Regional processing Center where account opening form, etc. are audited.
