Does exam center really matter?

My perception is -it matters.

Even I have the same question, can some senior member please guide..?

it doesn't matter if its metro city, mega city or small town..

your performance in exams metter not the exam centre.

no way its not at all true. i have friends who hav cleared from their home town and know soo many people staying in delhi who havn't. this is a base less assumption..

one of my friend was giving exam from kolkata didnt clear his PCC second group from previous four attempt but when he given his exam from cuttack a small centre than he cleared.

I also heard about manuplations of results are based on centres alloted.

But I have heard something else.

One of Source told me that ICAI gives approximately equal results at all centre.

For eg. if overall result is 30%, result of each centre will be 29%-31%.

So Sources used to say that you should attempt exams from small cities as they have less competition so we have more chance to clear our exams.

I never tried this but also don't whether it is true or not.

But personally I feel this is not correct.

Recently ICAI made announcement inviting expression of interest for codification.

No I think opposite is true

as per my knowlegde.....they suffle the answersheets like in lottery system....so that doesn't matter....
