On this issue I personally study various notification & scheme of Education & training of ICAI and conclude that who had taken admission in CA Inter / PE-2 on basis of Degree or other qualification and till could not passed are NOT ELIGIBLE for article ship since he could not clear any exam of ICAI.

PE-2 attempt could not be extended technically because NOV exam notification in Gov Gazette has been published which could not modify and I think also that institute is not going to conduct simultaneously three exam i.e. PE-2 , PCE & IPCE for CA Inter level so don’t expect about extension of PE-2 which is already extended for two attempts. If Institute extend then they are compromising with QUALITY because one side they had changed syllabus & pattern with respect to today Industry challenge & global scenario and other side they are running old syllabus.

Institute should strongly oppose about extension of old syllabus this issue and allow this category of student to PCC or IPCC.

What is possibility that if institute extend the PE-2 for next 2 or 3 attempts then the entire student who is failure from last many attempts will passed and these category will become empty.

I also suggest this category of student to mentally prepare for switched over and Welcome the New syllabus & pattern which is beneficial for profession of CA.

Please put your view on this Issue.

Dear Rakesh,

I would appreciate you, if you would have tried to understand the issue of PE2 students properly.

Secondly, the syllabus of PE2 and PCC/IPCC does not have huge difference that you mentioned. only difference i felt is on Central Excise and VAT which is of 25 marks out of 600.

Also, don't thoroughly under estimate the PE2 students as a failures. See, i have appeared only once in PE2 and cleared the group1 on the same attempt. Presently waiting for group2 results.

We are always willing to convert into PCC/IPCC, and don't have any fear on that too. But, till date no notification is given for PE2 students as to conversion. suppose the result is declared on 28th August, we have only 2 month left for our studies for Nov 09. Also, we are unaware, whether we have to appear for PCC/IPCC. the conversion paper works also takes time. so, overall we PE2 students are in a confusion as to what magic will happen to appear in the november attempt.

if PE2 extended one more attempt, there is a slight chance revise the entire syllabus in those two months. other wise, we will lose one attempt, without our fault.

The results of the Chartered Accountants Final and Final (New Course) Examinations, held in June, 2009 are likely to be declared on Thursday, the 13th August, 2009 around 2:00 PM and the same as well as the merit list (candidates securing a minimum of 55% and above marks and upto the maximum of 50th Rank in the case of Final Examination) on all India basis will be available on the following website:

https://www.caresults.nic.in

Arrangements have also been made for the students of Final and Final (New Course) Examinations desirous of having results on their e-mail addresses to pre-register their requests at the above website, i.e., https://www.caresults.nic.in from 7th August, 2009. All those registering their requests will be provided their results through e-mail on the e-mail addresses registered as above immediately after the declaration of the result.

Further facilities have been made for students of Final and Final (New Course) Examinations held in June, 2009 desirous of knowing their results with marks on SMS. The service will be available through MTNL, India Times and Reliance.

For getting results through the message students should type:

i) for Final Examination result the following

CAFNL(space)XXXXX (Where XXXXX is the five digit Final examination roll number of the candidate)

e.g. CAFNL 00028

ii) for Final (New Course) Examination result the following

CAFNLNW(space)XXXXX (Where XXXXX is the five digit Final (New Course) examination roll number of the candidate)

and send the message to:

rakesh....... you are strange man.... in one topic you says PE2 will be extended....... and next day you make a new topic and says institute will not extend any chances.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
