Direct tax help

I am preparing for CA-Final (Exam due may, 2012) on a self study basis, i have a very little time left for my exams, just wanting to know which book is most suitable for direct taxes on a self study basis.

I can give maximum 1 month for this subject as per plans with expected 8 hours daily....
Pl suggest.........(CPT & PCC cleared on a self study criteria)

vinod gupta  or T.N.Manoharan is the best for  Direct tax  C.A. FINAL

guys, plz help me know whether these books are suitable for self study & that too in a month, around 250 hours..... because as much as i know there are 8 big modules for vinod gupta....is it relevant for time constraints? Whether tn manoharan is also vast like vinod gupta ?

Dear Manish,

Those 8 modules are the shortest. Ussse short kuch nahi ho sakta. Tumhe atleast utna toh padhna hi padhega. Stretch time from others and give a ltl more to it.......
