Is it required to file Form ADT -1 for ratification of appointment of Statutory Auditors? Form GNL-2 has been filed in the previous year in respect of appointment for 5 years. There have been conflicting views.

FOR RATIFICATION OF APPOINTMENT OF STATUTORY AUDITOR, ADT-1 IS NOT REQUIRED.
I uphold views of Sunitashaw, ADT-1 is not required to be filed for ractification of auditors.
