Hey guys.
I require some help in computation of depreciation under straight line method for a certain entity. WDV is extremely easy to recompute.
Now I have an entity for which audit is being done a period between Apr to Nov. There are several FAs added mid month's.
Now the underlying question her is, is there an easy formula that I can apply across all the assets for computing depn. for the period?

The file i think is locked or the formula isnt working correctly. When I enter my data the computation shows #VALUE!
Dear Abhishek,
Just do following and then try to resolve your computation
Go to Start Menu => Control Panel => Regional Setting => Customize => Date => select format dd/mmm/yy and the sheet will work
