hi vidya

yes ur right in saying that it will not make sense to do CS without going for practical training.

but if u r also doing CA u must be going articleship which itself is comprehensive and there r chances that if end up in good reputed firms , u must be getting full exposure for wht u have to do in CS training.

Also the question of doing CS along with CA ? CA is the ultimate apex body and no other professional degree is comparable to it.

but again CS is also just not a waste of time , it is a very respectable professional degree. It will increase ur knowlege and ur overall prospective thinking.

If u want to start practice u can not go for both u have to choose either CA or CS.

The scope of practice and work of CA is more than that of a CS.A CA may practice taxation, auditing, financial management, project consultancy and a huge number of other such services. The scope of practice is limited for a CS which relates to corporate affairs like dealing with ROC and other such legal bodies and maintaining of various statutory records and returns of a company and legal matters of a company.

But if u want to get a job CS degree along with CA will illuminate ur resume if not less.

No.

CS degree with out training doesn't make sense at all.

Best Regards

hi friend!

you can only get knowlege through studies but cant take exp more as more confidence to fight with problems.

in trainnig we always learn how we do work? how we get work from us & from others. we always tackle the problems

in studyies we always read  the processor to do this work study never teach you the problems in way of work cant teach you how to get work

in trainning you always make link with others & know abt abt the cooperate word & so more

so no body must take dummy in trainnig whether in CS or CA or CWA or any other

thanks

Nitin Grover

and now you want to know abt ca & cs

its doesnt matter you are ca or cs or working as a ca or cs

both are respectable & valuable course

ca have knowelege in taxation, auditing, finan. manag.

cs have knowelege in Company law, Sebi, EXCISE, CUSTOM, Finan. Manag. & Auditing also

means both are more & more at their places no body is less

the person earns more who have more knowlege abt their works

their are so many CA who doesnot have work except than filling ITR 1 to ITR - 4 & sign on Form on 3CD in Rs 500-1500 & so Many Cs's are there who are earning more than the lac rs in consultancy of each client

& VICE-VERSA so its not a eligible question to explain more

now yes you can do as a proffe. practise only as a one either a CS or a CA  both are best

if you are both it will give you more help in job & practise because you can do work of both and get signed from others or make partnership with other professional & earn more

i am also doing CS & CA

Thanks

Nitin Grover

I completely agree with Nitin.

I disagree with Sourabh that "CA is the ultimate apex body and no other professional degree is comparable to it". It is nothing but a self created notion. All the professions are best in their respective field. Nobody can say that profession X is better than profession Y where both the professions have same stature ( which is why I never say that IIM guys are far more supirior than CA). Moreover CA is not a professional degree it is a professional qualification.

IIM students are not superior then CA or CS

they are just only expert in marketing not in laws or in statutory applications

they are very expert in marketting & expert in running the business

ya india is also say IIM's Student's are better then CA or CS

but its not true dear

Thanks's

Nitin Grover

i am extremely sorry if you mind it

but really i am sharing my views

pls dont mind

There is nothing to mind. I am also of the same view like your's that IIM Guys are not superior than CA/CS/ICWA 'but in moneytory terms they are in a better position and this is fact. Rather I am opposed to the self declaration made by certain segments (though a few) that CA is better than CS or ICWA.

Please dont think that I am IIM aspirant/student/graduate.

thanks to understand me mr. banerjee

but sorry nitin its upto 1973-74 because since 1974-75 it has been brought down to 30% +10%of(30%)+2%of(33%)  in 1997-98  now its 30% +10%of(30%)+(2+1)% of (33%)

thanks

 Hey guys,

CS without training is not bad. You can take up a firm that has ROC compliance in its area of operation and learn that as well. I too had the same apprehensions but I have done it. But be careful in selecting your firm for articles.Specify in your CV that you are interested in secretarial compliance work. Best of luck!

Hey guyss.. thr is a vast diffference btw practical aspects and theoretical aspects related to role of Company Secretary. So it is very much advisable to take up a training and that too at a good place where  u can learn core aspects related to our profession.
