Confused about Direct tax book

Final 1374 views 9 replies

I bought two books for Direct Tax i.e. Manoharan and Padhuka

I find Manoharan is good  in lucid style of writing.

Whereas Padhuka is better in presentation.

Please help me which book should I follow as the main book and which should I consider for reference when confused?

I am doing self study because there are no classes in my city.

Take any book dear. All the books are good, if you have good command over the text, as Income Tax Act contains the sections. Do more and more practical questions and learn the sections. If you will keep on taking advices, it will just confuse you. So buy any book, either Girish Ahuja or Manoharan or Singhania. All are renowned authors. If you are going for first time to read the tax then go for any book. If you have read tax earlier also in Bcom or somewhere else, then I will suggest you to go for the book by same author whom you already have read

Friends, I am waiting for your reply

T. N. Manoharan - Best...

tarun is right

refer that auther whome you have refred before also. because it will help you to read speedly and grasping more efficiently

if it is TN Vs paduka

than TN is always a winner

Can anybody suggest a good reference book information control and systems audit

Chirag..

books also depend on students own ability..i mean Sanjhi Agrawal followed Vinod gupta n managed 80 +marks..but that book is too vast n not at all good for revision..an average student may find bangar or tn manoharan better..no book gurantee u success..it depends on HOW U READ IT N NOT WHAT U READ IT..

isca k lye paduka or study is gud

n for dt i did vg sir module bt is guess manorahan is gud too

vinod gupta is d best book for ca final just see if any of ur frnds has with them its very good book plz see to it

agree with amit..
