Clarification for ITR AY 2024-25
A trader's total sales figure for FY 2023-2024 is ₹ 25698700. His approximate net profit is ₹ 645678. Income tax return for AY 2024-25 cannot be filed before 31/12/2024. Can it be filed after 31/12/2024? What are its terms?

No. ITR for AY 2024-25 cannot be filed after 31.12.2024, (unless date gets extended), in normal circumstances. Updated return can be filed after the date, but with penalty.
