Clarification
I am a trader registered under VAT migrated to GST. I want to do consultancy for a construction firm. Can I raise a bill to the firm in my existing GSTIN or should I have to register with service tax. Please clarify.

You do not need register under service tax as GST subsume all other taxes.
U must check ur consulting business is registered under GSt while applying for GST Licence.
