Claiming uniform maintenance allowance, if not specially granted by employer

Hello,

Our employer paid us all our special allowances under one single allowance as other allowance instead of dividing it into each individual allowance in financial year 18-19. But is now dividing under each allowance in 2019 onwards.

can we still claim for Uniform Maintenance allowance for financial year 18-19, as we have a Specific Dress code, under Section 10(14(i)) as Uniform Allowance

or Under Section 10(14(ii)) as expenses incurred for performing of duty as uniform allowance is not explicitly given.

I need this info fast.
