Checking ITR status online

I don't think so............only way is to check the acknowledgement  date.............

The assessee whose return is to be filled, has been filed or not can be checked by following way.

1) Assessee has to login on Incometax site. For login, the ID will be PAN of assessee and PW must be known by assessee.

2) After logingin, the assessee will get option like MY RETURNS. From there, the assessee can verify whether its return for the year about which he wants know has been filed or not? and if filed, then on which date?

If any problem arise it is better to submit ITR physically at your ward Jurisdiction.
