Hello,
When I was registering my Pvt Ltd. company a long time ago, I wanted to go with a particular name that was unavailable because another company was registered with the exact same name.
Recently, I discovered that that company has been struck off by RoC.
My query is this:
1. Can I get the name of my present company changed to that name? If yes, when? It doesn't matter if it takes a year or two, is that name going to be available for registration any time in the future? Because I would like to be ready to register it when that happens.
2. Can I register a new company by that name?
Please note that I have no connection to the struck off company and that we are located in different regions of the country altogether.
