Change Name in Pan Card

a. If the PAN card number already available with you, follow the below links :

b. If you DO NOT have the PAN card number, try to recover from Income Tax site : https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/e-Filing/Services/KnowYourPanGSVerification.H T M L OR steps can be found in this link https://www.bankbazaar.com/pan-card/pan-card-details.H T M L 

After you get to know the right Permanent Account Number, you can apply for Change request in NSDL site.

In order to change the name in your PAN card, you will have to follow these simple steps:

• Login to the NSDL website https://www.tin-nsdl.com/
• Fill form 49 A (in case of indian citizens) or form 49 AA (in case of foreigners) and enter your correct name in the form.
• Submit digital copy of the proof of identity.
• Make a payment of Rs 110 in case of Indian citizens and Rs 1020 in case the address of communication is outside India.
• Submit the form online and take a printout of it.
• Send the form to NSDL's address. The application form should reach NSDL within 15 days of filling the form.
• The new PAN card with update name will be sent to the registered address within 45 days.
