No You cannot file your return from your wife id.

you have to file your return from your own id

their is no provision of A/c blockage. Please try by providing necessary information you can access your account.

Inome Tax Department never block any ID. Their may be problem if you have forgot your Password. Go for Forgot option enter necessary details and your will be prompted for you A/c.

And chrges of TRP's depends on his own will and type of return you are required to file

For e filing you can not use any ID except yours & it is generally not get blocked, only password may be wrong, which you can reset from Forgot Password link on home page of www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in

within a reasonable time you will get feedback from income tax deptt regarding your password else go for mannual return. Income tax deptt don't usually block the PAN.

I do not see how an ID can be blocked. There is no way that can be done. What must have happened is that you have forgotten the password. There are many ways to reset the password so go ahead and get that done.

And no, you cannot file your returns through any other ID but your own. If you still cannot get through contact the ITO responsible for your returns. They will be able to help out.
