NIcely explained with example & agree with lines... one must implement it...

I would add mine own experience,  All case law from RTP to be juz rattofy, ICAI jus pick them up & paste itin exam...

So all case law names to be mentioed as it is & to remeber case law names.. its simple juz keep aside 30 mins aside from your study schedule & do read it without fails...

All the best!!

Cheerz!!

Friends, One more suggestion

"Do solve the MOCK PAPERS provided by the Institute on their website in the month preceeding the month of exams......"

The question over here is not whether questions could be asked from it or not.... solving of papers will make you mentally at eaze.... It would help you a lot when you sit in actual examination hall.

Give the papers in exam condition..... It will take out half of your stress.........

Do not get bogged down if you don't perform well in that paper, as its a just a practise..... Its better to go through all this in practise session, rather than during actual exams !! yes

Bro.. at first let me congratulate you that you have given a genuine effort and wrote it in your words i.e. you havnt copied from anywhere else. I really appreciate it.

I want to ask u for something.... I find SFM very dificult coz my maths was too weak and when i start security analysis type chapter, i just get flat on it.

In nutshell , whenever i do sfm, my mind just gets blocked and i start losing my confidence..... Its a fire dragon for me. I have taken classes from Sanjay Saraf sir who is undoubtly best teacher (100/100) but as i lack basics and concepts and also couldnot attend proper classes, i feel helpless in this subject.

Can you suggest me any strategy for this Dragon to tackle efficiently so that i win my battle in May 2013.

I found your strategy less helpfull for me.

ALOK

Hi Alok,

Well thanks for your appreciation !! smiley

I also appreciate the fact you clearly mention your difficulty.... This shows that you are more inclined to solving it rather than cribing about it..... So the first step of yours is absolutely right !!

Now comes, how should you go about with SFM..... !!

Firstly, accept in your mind that its NOT A DIFFICULT SUBJECT.... at all !! Its very scoring....!!

Open the practice manual and also Sanjay sir's notes (as you are referring to him).....

Now analyse by yourself, which is the chapter you are more confident in SFM.

Make an index as I suggested.... It would help you !!

Finance is a subject, in which the more you solve, better would be the confidence level.... I would suggest you to solve the examples of the book you are following !!

Bro, for you the most I can do is I can help you over CACLUBINDIA.COM itself.... !!

Since you are not strong in this subject.... I would suggest you to start with

1. Mergers & Acquistions !!

2. Divident Policy and further would let you know by monday how to go about with it

The time consuming chapters are

Capital Budgeting, Lease, FOREX and Derivatives to an extent

See Lease you can combine with Accounts (Accounting Standards)..... !!

Bro, I would too help you out with my notes, as how I made it easy.... Please give my some time.... I will have to get back to my notes..... !!

My Suggestion would for you to START with MERGERS and ACQUISTIONS today .... Solve it from Practice Manual.... and let me know if any difficulties..... I would try my best to solve it !!

Thanks !!

Dear ashish, thanks for this recognition...

I forget to write there that i have completed following chapters:

1.Mergers& amalgamations

2.Dividend policy

3.Leasing

4.Mutual Funds

5.Theory

6.Forex

7. Building Blocks

But still find it difficult whenever i start solving anyone of these apart from those i havnt done. Actualy i lack concepts and i know that i have to build it up at any cost.

Waiting for your notes.

Thanks a lot

God bless you

Dear Alok

Great to know that you have completed these chapters........ !!

Where do you find the difficulties....... ?

Are you able to start the sum ??..... because thats a key in solving !!

Sure, will try to get the notes the earliest !!

Thanks !!
