Book on accounting principles

I was looking for a book (by indian author or low priced indian edition of foreign author) which explains accounting principles in great details at basic to intermediate level. I am looking for something similar to topics covered by "Intermediate Accounting - Kieso" (www.amazon.com/Intermediate-Accounting-Donald-E-Kieso/dp/0470374942/ref=sr_1_1). I am not intrested in learning specialized transactions (accounts). Please let me know of any books.
