Is it possible to close the books of the company from monday? can the previous day be a holiday for book closure?

Hi Kavitha,

 

yes it is very much possible and there is no restriction as such in law. However keeping in view the essence of this provision along with administrative convenience it is advisable to not to start your book closure date from Monday.
