The treatment will be same as the treatment for sales tax and VAT. However, the compliance rules and methods have changed. Some additional adjustments are needed to be made.

Tally would be coming up with a detailed note on compliance under GST. We understand that the patches are getting ready. They may also provide some tools for calcuation. However one may have to wait for  some time till the act and rules are in place and maybe 1 month thereafter to get the same.
