Please ask the question again in detail and in precise manner. Sorry that I can't understand your question.

My articles got completed on 12th April 2010, There was an extension agreement, and My articles would get completed on 17th June as per the agreement and all the documents were completed and sent to the ICAI. As many are aware, we can check our articleship details on the intranet site of the Institute, According to the Institute the extension has been taken to get over on 25th June. This difference of 8 days is due to the error in the calculations of Extension. The Date as per the Institute is right, The question now arises, that for the 8 days after the agreement, do i have to make a fresh 103, or another 107????

Your articleship is already over and as this is an extention period (if I were right).

You need to contact our institute personaly to get clarified, because I consider this happens in rare case!

My case was exactly similar to you last year.

the actions are:

Case 1 if they agree that there is a mistake on their side:

YOU HAVE TO SEND A LETTER TO THE INSTITUTE FORMALLY ASKING THEM TO CORRECT THE MISTAKE

Case 2 if their records are correct:

GET BACK THE FORM YOU SUBMITTED AND CORRECT IT

OR

THEY WILL ASK FOR A NEW FORM TO BE SUBMITTED ALONG WITH A LETTER FOR REVISION.

My personal opinion is if  ICAI accepts their mistake Okay.  Otherwise you just submit the new form as if you had worked upto 25th June.  It is not that you have to serve upto 25th June as your principal agrees well before that date.

My principal agreed for such adjustment.

Thanks.. Institute sent me a letter asking for a corrected 107 ( i made the required chnge in the dates in the copy of 107 available with us in the office) and then sent the form 108 for the completion of extension and 107 (corrected) with a covering letter of the principal
