Nice to see your cocern for the students writing the examination.

I would like to say that the ICAI is looking at ensuring that many more competent accountants come out of the system. There is a great demand from the industry. There is no system of limiting the number of candidates passing.

Some points from the examiners interaction which students may note:

->brief answers preferable.[ vague long winded repetitions will not help in better marks]

-> neat handwriting- when difficult to read no marks wouldbe awarded.

-> attempt the easy questions first - to increase your confidence as you wirte

-> use study ICAI material as paper setter also use them

-> browse thru the student newsletter to see that updates have not missed your eye

-> visit the icai site bos to see the latest

Sleep well the previous day, go confidently and pass out gloriously. Best of luck

Small Reminder for November 2010 Attempt


 

Students appearing in the next Professional Competence Examination (PCE), Integrated Professional Competence Examination (IPCE),  Final and Post Qualification Courses(MAC, IRM and ITL & WTO) Examinations of the Institute to be held from 8th November-2010 to 22nd November-2010 may kindly note that the Examination Timings are from 02.00 PM to 05.00 PM (IST).

 

Similarly, Examination timings at Abu Dhabi and Dubai Centres will be 12.30 PM to 3.30 PM. UAE local time equivalent to 02.00 PM to 05.00 PM (IST). Examination timings at Kathmandu centre will be 02.15 PM to 05.15 PM Nepal local time equivalent to 02.00 PM to 05.00 PM (IST)

 

Further to note that there will be no change in the examination schedule in the event of any day of the examination schedule being declared a Public Holiday by the Central Government or any State Government.
