Concentrate on first group if you aren't confident in group two studies.. I

Aakriti, my advise is that you should go for both grps. Only 30 days to go, just complette your first grp and do at least advance accounting and auditing, though it sm is lengthy, try to complete sm first and den do some important chapters of it. 2nd grp is not that difficult to clear. If you give both grps , u have a chance of getting a rank, which will surely help you to choose a good firm in future as well as enriching ypur cv. Just, take a chance and study for these 30 days and crack the xams with flying colors . All d very best

@ Rahul - That is what i am fearing. If i take a chance, i might flunk in both. Thats the thing. I am soo scared.

If your are not confident of clearing 2nd group then focus one first group only. Then the preparation for first should be such that you are able to clear it. I would also suggest you to atleast appear for second group, though you have not prepared for the same. By appearing you can have an idea about how paper setters check your knowledge.

@ Dhairya - Ok if i study only 1st then how will i appear for 2nd Group? I mean i would know nothing in 2nd Group. Wot will i write then???

As you said earlier, you are done with 5-10% of Group 2's syllabus. Moreover I assume that you might have had coaching for IPCC preparation. And whatever you might have learned there at coacing classes plus 5-10% portion that you have covered is more than enough to boost confidence. Also I assume that you must have applied for appearing both groups. So I would suggest that atleast appear for second group. Appearing in the exams will prove beneficial for your next attempt (if any). Have trust in you, be confident and remember you gonna risk it to get the biscuit.

I believe u must go for both grps....

its definately possible..........one month is more thnh sufficient,I know its very easy to say thn to execute it..........but trust me   

its not that difficult a job

 

As far as audit and It Sm is concerned go for practice manual .A thoroughreading of Practice manual can assure passing marks

 

and always remember if you will do hard work,god would surely reward you

Its easy to give up 2nd grp,,,,,,,,,but prove urself that you like doing tough jobs

u said u completed 2nd group 5-10 % only so prepare for 1st group and u write both exams ok......concentrate on 1st group wen u feel bore open 2nd group books remeber one thing... "don't lose any thing if it is in ur hands....." ok may be by god's grace if  uget more  than 350 and every subject 40 +..then u ll be pass so all the best..

hi! since u have filled the form, u anyway have to attempt fr both the groups.. make ur grp 1 very thorough.. concentrate on it entirely.. Look at it this way..1 group done means 1 group less!! If u try to handle both the groups, u'll end up nt focussing in even 1 of them properly..All the best:)

I vl also advise u for both groups. U concerntrate only on 1st.  Max to max what wull happen u will not get time to study 2nd. Its ok.  Just do it before exam day whatever u remember from ur coaching studies & what ever u think is easy & managble for you. Your luck u may get in exam what you know. If u wont appear than u might tease ur self if paper wll be easy. So appear for both bt give most imp to 1st. & Dont take stress whch will disturb your studies...

Its better to go for Ist group only............Prepare for it at yor best and forget about IInd Group.....First You should ensure that You atleast have prepared to the extent that You clear Ist group. This will neither affect your track record and cause any delay in articleship later on....

I would not suggest to go for IInd group just for experience and also knowing that you have not prepared having least of chances of passing it...........Because there is no intelligence in taking experience of being failed in something......
