Agreed 100% with Mr. Raj. There is no need of second thought. Its one attempt only.

There is no official way of counting attempts.

When the attempt becomes due, it is an "ATTEMPT" .Whether you appear for one grp, both grps or donot appear at all. The companies reqcruiting are clever enough to know this fact.Suppose your attempt is due in November 14, and you appear one year later due to lack of prepration, in November 2015..will this be one attempt ? No, not at all. Your attempt was November 2014 and you were supposed to attempt and clear in this attempt the CA Final Examination(both).

If you appear individually in two attempts and pass them, there will be two attempts.You were supposed to attempt and clear CA final when the attempt was due.

I am sure about it. And mr. Himanshu i am not speculating any thing... i know this fact... when you go for campus placement than you have to fill the no. of attempts and in that for it is mentioned that if you go clear each one grp in single sitting than wo apka first attempt count hoga

attempt is not counted as and when your attempt is due attempt is counted only when your actually give the exams

No. of attempts is counted the time you fill your examination forms. if you fill your forms twice(although for individual groups) it will be considered as two attempts. agree with mr. raj..

In my opinion Mr. Himanshu Bansal is right and if our attempt is due in May 14 and we are giving exams in November 14 then it would be counted as our second attempt.

yes it will be counted as two attemps and if you want to do job then clear it in two attempts it will be beneficial for you in future ahead.
