dear professionals,
pls. confirm that the following deductions are allowed under if a women have "income from Salary"
1.Housing Loan Principal+Interest-30000.00
2.stamp duty + registration-100100.00
Stamp duty is paid for new floor occupied in feb'2011 financed by bank.

Amit..Principal amount will be allowed deduction under section 80C for the purpose of 1 lac limit.
Interest is allowed as deduction under income from house property.
As regards, stamp duty, this is too allowed as deduction..just need to check the section..will update too asap

Mr. Amit only Housing Loan Principal and Interest is allowed as deduction as u stated above,there is no provision in IT Act which allows deduction of stamp duty and registration charges.
