SIR IN YOUR LAST SOLVED QUERY YOU MENTIONED THAT IN CASE OF LOSS IF THE ASSESSEE REC NOTICE FROM IT DEPT HE HAS TO FILE RETURN. BUT IN MY OPINION THE ASSESSEE SHOULD FILE RETURN ONLY IF HE IS LIABLE U/S 139(1). IF THE ASSESSEE WANTS TO CARRY FORWARD THE LOSS HE HAS TO FILE RETURN U/S 139 (3). SINCE IN THIS CASE THE ASSESSEE HAS RECD NOTICE FROM AO IT SEEMS THAT HE HAS NOT FILED RETURN U/S 139 (3) SO HE CAN NOT CARRY FORWARD THE LOSS. AND SINCE HIS INCOME IS BELOW EXEMPTION LIMIT HE IS NOT REQUIRED TO FILE RETURN. SUGGESTION IS WELCOMED
