Dear sir, is it charging int on service tax has any thresh hold limit thereby assesses can extend their due dates from 5th to 25 th ? if so, let me know because i want to calculate the interest. Ia m in doubt whether to consider 5th or 25th for the payment of service tax I have heard about thresh hold limits were given by assesses with respect to payment of service tax.

Dear Mr Krishnan, am planning to apply for EPCG license, i've been told i can either go for SSI registration or IEM registration. SSI registration nearly take 3-4 months in Delhi. Can you pls guide on IEM, the machine i plan to import on EPCG costs apps 20 Lacs INR, can IEM registration be granted for this ? Some people mention that IEM is available only on machines above 1 cr, n some mention that a machine in range of 20 lacs come in capital goods n can be brought in IEM registration. Pls guide.
