    What kinds of questions I can and can't answer?
    Relating to Audit, Income Tax, Corporate Laws, and Service Tax. I cant answer questions relating to Central Excise & Customs. My special skill is in the area of MIS using Excel Tool exclusive for our Accounts Profession

  • Kannan says : Tally9 - ODBC Final Accounts
    First of all, I export a TB on 31-08-08 as text file, then open excel, Data->Get External Data->Import from Text File, now I got a TB in excel, then I prepare final accounts. On 30-09-08, again I export a TB in text file in the same name. Then Open the existing excel file, Data-> !Refresh Data, the final accounts are updated. If I tried to export the same using ODBC Server, I got the data upto last entry, in the following format Parent Group-- Ledger A/c -- Amount. How to fetch data to particular date, using ODBC. Incase I use alphabetical TB in excel format (Tally9 R2.13),in next sheet linked the first page for each ledger a/c, then sorting groupwise by adding one more column to first worksheet CA, CL, FA, PRO for grouping. At this point, vlookup, match, index functions are useful, but I wish to know how? Please help me. Also how to attach my excel file
