: VAT on Furniture Rental
Dear Mr.Nitin, We are into Interiors business and charge Service tax @10.3% on 33% and VAT on 67% for the contractual work. A client wants us to make furniture & interiors and lease it to them. Do I need to charge service tax/VAT and if so on what percentage? Please help and let me know.. Thks Rajesh -

one of my clients they are into the business of rental business. and they have given one machinery on rent. but they are charging VAT on it. my question is, whether the VAT will be applicable for rental goods also, if yes i want to know the concept of VAT.. -
