12 February 2010 As deduction of Stamp Duty deduction is available in 80C also and allowed as deduction from CG as COA then this is Double Dueduction ? if so please explain me why?

take this: on house loan there is 80C deduction but installment is added in cost of acquisition and you are getting 80C deduction so as per your view double deduction. But everybody know this is legal and correct. No objection on this. So your case is same as this. Not to worry
