Can anyone tell me that the DIRECTOR's INCOME TAX RETURN filing is mandatory.
or if it is mandatory then please tell we where it is mentioned.
I mean in any circular or any notification.

ofcourse it is mandatory to file income tax return for any assesse who is having their income more than basic exemption before claiming deductions under chapter VIA

If director is in employee relationship with the company and company deducted tds under 192 his income is chargeable under head salaries ,,if 194J is deducted chargeable under professional services
